Positive: When I booked, there were a lot of high expectations but when I reached there I was totally blown away. The photos just don't do justice to the villa. The villa has been built with tremendous attention to detail. Not even a single tree has been uprooted while building this beautiful structure right in the middle of Himalayan forest. It's enveloped in thick deodar and pine forests and from a distance we did not even realize that there is a home tucked away in under this thick canopy! They have built this using stone so its all old world charm and a very sturdy construction. As the name suggests, its truly 'Ekam'. Every room has its own soothing, calming, meditative impact on the guests. It's got a well stocked library. Multiple places where you can sit across the house to bond with your family, like the community table near the wood-fired pizza area, the library, gazebo etc. The food is spectacular. The egg curry, mutton, pizza, calzone and so on.. we came back with a few kgs weight gain :) I will surely visit again with a bigger group.
