We talked a lot about water consumption (as well as other environmental issues), but I think some people forget that just because something is sustainable doesn’t mean it won’t impact people at home or abroad negatively; sometimes an action can have unintended consequences(!) so talk about those too!

4. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes – Doing something wrong still counts as an accomplishment! Make mistakes and learn from them (in fact, maybe do them again!), don’t be afraid of making big mistakes even if they’re small ones too; that’s how we learn best!

Also, don’t let other people dictate what’s good or bad for you – take responsibility for what you do and be responsible for the things you say!5. Do something with your friends – Talk travel with friends who are?
