Less than 2km from the city centre, walking distance to Central & Newtown in a buzzing neighbourhood, the location just can't be beaten. With comfortable accomodation for up to 12 people, along with a huge kitchen and great outdoor areas, it truly is the most loved short term rental in Sydney.
If you are passionate about design and interiors you'll love this house! An epic renovation has lovingly brought this old dame back to life, with no expense spared in creating a luxury, made-for-short stays space that exudes charm and character.
From custom made marble floors, to gorgeous brass lights, to restored fireplaces and decorative ceilings, there is something of interest in every room.
Private, secure and quiet, Sinjin is perfect for those wanting a central but friendly neighbourhood base from which to explore the city. Forest Lodge is a vibrant, unique suburb only a stone's throw from the dazzling city, gentle Glebe, hip Newtown, buzzing Surry Hills, and a walk to the water. Being opposite the stately Sydney University, it is a bohemian place populated with a mix of students, families, and older residents. Comprised of gorgeous Victorian terraces you can get a feel for 'old Sydney town' by walking it's tree-lined streets. Take a rest from admiring the architecture by stopping in for a coffee and maybe a cronut at any one of a multitude of cafes right outside your door.
Whilst on a quiet residential street, buses to the city, Central Station, Bondi/Coogee and outer west are available a 2 minwalk away. It's walking distance to the city (20 mins), Newtown, Ultimo, Chippendale, Broadway, Glebe and Annandale. Taxis and Ubers are plentiful, and walking is safe any time of the day or night. On-street parking is available on the street outside (there are both unrestricted and restricted spots. If you miss out on an unrestricted spot, visitor passes can be purchased off me for $10/day).
