Positive: The place is very cheap and simple, but don't get deterred by that. For the price of a few euros you're getting way more value. It is a bit to the side from the main beach so there are very few people passing by and you can enjoy peace and quiet, and the most audible sound is of the ocean. I barely left the property in the first days I stayed there. It was the best opportunity to slow down and enjoy. Additionally, the host - Johnson - and his energy is what actually makes this place special. We had great conversations every day, shared our experiences and knowledge, and it was the best time I had while traveling south India. When I'll come back to Alleppey, I will definitely stay here again - not for the price but for something priceless. Groups and solo travellers, me and women, you will feel safe, welcome, and Johnson will help with whatever you need. I wish and hope this place would be fully booked all year long🙏

Negative: The shower water pressure upstairs could be a little bit higher, lol
