Positive: The location to the airport. Prior Communication. Wonderful dinner served to us and attended (only ones there). quiet room. No bugs. Fair price. We checked in (lots of paperwork we were advised of), were escorted to our rooms and were given some explanations by really nice young men (better english). It was a different kind of experience but not bad. Small Terrace was nice but was being used by a big group. Bed was fine. Shower, but I ran out of hot water both times. Space them out. I didn't mind the 'all in one' shower room. Taxi to hotel at 6pm was 400 rupees set price at airport. He didn't know where hotel was and took a very long route even with gps. Going back at 3am was 700 set by hotel- he also took a much shorter route.. AC was fine. Dining area was nice but we never saw any food but what we ordered.

Negative: I chose this hotel based on what seemed to be legit reviews and photos (as compared to most others I researched) and the communication that was very clear. Upon arrival communication was impossible. Where was the person who spoke English? We couldn't communicate about meals which I understood to be 24-7. We were told dinner could be 7:30 and needed to order over the phone but we didn't know if they understood. There was confusion if it was brought to our room or we go down to dining area. (we split up to wait at both areas). Dinner was served in dining area as we wanted. We left twice very early (for Taj tour and our flight) and thought we could get something to go but the front didn't know anything about the early food or breakfast so we went without both days. Definitely needed some maintenance or work and linens that weren't old. We never saw the place in daylight even with 2 night stay. no body wash. had to ask 2x for another roll of TP after our first tiny roll was out. I don't know where the washing machine and dryer were. We had a small table and 2 chairs, the other had a tiny sofa...Deluxe room? Site won't let me add the pictures I want to add.

Summary: It was OK, but with a few simple changes would be nicer. Not sure if we had 2 Deluxe double rooms.
