Positive: This facility is self-catering, but facilities are comprehensive. There is a full large stove, a microwave oven, toaster, kettle, nespresso machine and even a washing machine. Coffee, tea and milk are provided. The property is spacious, and includes a balcony. The property is situated in a quiet, leafy suburb, and you can sit of the balcony and watch the squirrels running about in the oak trees. There is a catering company operating from the ground floor of the building which will happily provide evening meals if required. The Winelands Mediclinic is within walking distance.

Negative: The property is accessed via a fairly steep flight of stairs. There is a handrail, but if, as in our case, you are going to the nearby Winelands Mediclinic for hip or knee surgery, this could be a problem.
