Newly renovated with brand new appliances our beach cottage with Shoalhaven River at the end of the street, off leash dog areas and a 3 minute drive to the rolling surf Seven Mile Beach. Three bedrooms sleep 6 (4 adults 2 kids) R/c air conditioning, smart TV with complimentary wifi throughout. A well stocked kitchen, nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Huge fully fenced level rear yard. Outdoor shower.
We welcome your dogs (max 2) both inside and out but not on beds please. Free internet with study nook means suitable to work from home. All linen provided except BYO beach towels, cot linen and cot blankets. Outdoor furniture provided on the back deck overlooking the grassy yard where you will spend most of your time unwinding. Perfect for couples or families and their furry member. We provide a travel cot and can supply a highchair, just ask.
Be sure to explore the many facilities in the Heads. We are metres to the Botanical Garden and playground with BBQs. Turn left outside our fence and you are an easy 5 minute walk down the street to the off leash dog area along the riverbank. Opposite this is the Heads Hotel which apart from serving meals and drinks, hosts live music and other events. Dining options range from local fine dining at Bangalay Villas, Berry and the surrounding wineries (be sure to book ahead) to more casual local options catering for easy meals including pizza, Chinese, fish and chips and the Heads Bowlo and Golf Clubs. If you prefer self catering a hidden gem at the Heads is the Mountain Side Meats Butchery. Other local shops include Village Grocer (open 7 days 7-7), Bakery, Pharmacy, Post Office and Bottle Shop. There is also a local vet and doctor.
Leisure activities including horse riding, the local swimming pool, Jerry Bailey bike and pump track, picnic tables with BBQ and brand new fenced dog park and Golf Club. Council has recently resurfaced the tennis courts and there is a brand new practice wall. Mostly flat the Heads is very easy to walk or ride around but also provides some great bike and walking tracks for the more adventurous to explore.
Our cottage has off street parking in the tandem carport providing undercover entry to house. Driveway is shared with studio flat at rear. Getting around, the roads are mostly flat so walking and bike riding is ideal.
Important House Rule for your pet: Human Guests can enjoy access to the full property however we do ask that your pet utilise the pet bedding provided or BYO.
Cameras
For the safety of our guests and their property there are security cameras at the front, carport and side gate entrances. There are none inside the property or in the backyard and they are not reviewed unless there is a serious issue raised during a guests stay. All video is destroyed within 30 days.
