A man take lord Ganesha idol for immersion into Arabian sea, to bid adieu Ganesha on the fifth day of Ganesha Chaturthi festival in Mumbai on 9 September 2016.

During Ganesha chaturthi festival in India people ceremoniously bring home lord Ganesha idol and keep it for several days(one,five, eleven etc) worshipping and celebrating the festival. On the last day of festival they immerse the idol into sea.

Bringing Ganesha home is believed to bring blessings and good luck.
